No Christian would argue that the resurrection of Christ is not an important historical fact. But what gives it such significance? I make the case in this message that what gives the resurrection of Jesus it’s legitimacy and keeps it from the scrap heap of religious superstitions is the equally important fact that Jesus predicted His resurrection on several occasions and that these promises to rise from the dead have been preserved for us in Scripture.
