Bridge Church at Perry is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). As a Southern Baptist church we are a fully autonomous church: self-governing and self-sustaining. What distinguishes us as a Southern Baptist Church is our participation in the Cooperative Program (CP) which is the collective means through which all Southern Baptist churches cooperate financially to advance the Kingdom of Christ. The Cooperative Program is based on the belief that we can do more together than we can apart. Each Southern Baptist church determines an amount of its undesignated offerings to be sent to the CP. Those CP dollars are then used to support over 10,000 missionaries through the International Mission Board (IMB) and North American Mission Board (NAMB), as well as six theological seminaries across the United States which train Christian leaders for faithful service in local churches and on the mission field, and many other important causes such as public policy advocacy through the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.
