Jeff Calloway, Elder
In 2006, while pastoring a church in Willoughby, Ohio, Jeff Calloway was approached about launching a new church in Perry. It wasn’t long until he and his wife Julie were in full church-planting mode, and less than a year later in January of 2007, Bridge Church at Perry was meeting weekly. In 2010, Jeff stepped away from the lead pastoring role at Bridge to serve with the Southern Baptist Convention’s North American Mission Board (NAMB) as a church-planting missionary helping to recruit, train, and deploy church planters in the greater Cleveland area. However, Jeff and Julie remain committed to serving the Lord through Bridge Church, including Jeff’s role as one of our three elders (shepherd leaders). A native Knoxvillian, Jeff is a rabid Tennessee Volunteers fan. Jeff and Julie have two grown daughters who are actively involved at Bridge Church and three grandchildren they adore. Find Jeff on Facebook by clicking here.
Tom and his wife Martha are charter members of Bridge Church and are active in virtually every aspect of our church’s life. Tom was installed as an elder July 1, 2012. A career mechanic, Tom has been leading small groups since before he and his family joined the launch team of Bridge Church in 2006, and he occasionally preaches in pastor Darin’s absence. He and Martha are the proud parents of two grown children, Brittany and Spencer who are also active in church life.
