In 2006, while pastoring a church in Willoughby, Ohio, Jeff Calloway was approached about launching a new church in Perry. It wasn’t long until he and his wife Julie were in full church-planting mode, and less than a year later in January of 2007, Bridge Church at Perry was meeting weekly. In 2010, Jeff stepped away from the lead pastoring role at Bridge to serve with the Southern Baptist Convention’s North American Mission Board (NAMB) as a church-planting missionary helping to recruit, train, and deploy church planters in the greater Cleveland area. However, Jeff and Julie remain committed to serving the Lord through Bridge Church, including Jeff’s role as one of our three elders (shepherd leaders). A native Knoxvillian, Jeff is a rabid Tennessee Volunteers fan. Jeff and Julie have two grown daughters who are actively involved at Bridge Church and three grandchildren they adore.
